A little more about me…

My name is Kieran, that’s me with my epic fiancee on our engagement shoot (yep, we’re wedding planning too!). We live in Manchester with our FOUR (yes, 4!) dogs and a jungle of succulents. I’m not joking.

I’m a wedding photographer through and through, but more importantly, I consider myself to be a story teller.

My photos are fine art in editing, but not in posing. Your wedding isn’t scripted, so I believe your photos shouldn’t be either. Everything is captured as it happens.

Sometimes I still have to pinch myself because I can’t believe I get to call this my job. It’s an incredible feeling!

I photograph wedding days all across the North-West of England, and even further a field! I go wherever a wedding day takes me. But I do primarily work around Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and the Lake District.

A lot of photographers say they got into wedding photography by accident, but for me that isn’t the case. I’m a huge people person. People are my passion and I also love photography. I picked up my first camera in 2013 and never looked back. I wanted a way to combine my passion of people and photography - hence wedding photography. Here I am a few years later, documenting people’s stories with their closest family and friends, and I LOVE it!

What to expect & my style

I’m not going to bore you with saying I’ve got the best fine art photography degree from a swanky London university. I’m completely self taught (as a lot of us photographers are), and I couldn’t be more in love with what I do and the couples I work with. You’ll notice from looking at my site, and making it this far (I hope), that you’ve got an idea of my style. With being a romantic and natural photographer, I capture the emotion of the day through light and airy photographs. My overall approach to the day is being what’s known as ‘documentary’, all that means is that I just capture things as they happen, I blend in as one of your guests and immerse myself into the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. But I also giving you both a moment alone, capturing the love and laughter between you both.

Wedding Films

I’ll be honest, in the first lockdown of 2020 I was bored. Like, REALLY bored. So I started dabbling in video.

I had couples coming to me saying one of their biggest regrets of the wedding was that they wished they had it captured on video too, but didn’t have room in their budget for a ‘proper’ videography company. Which got me thinking that I could offer a basic highlight film to my couples alongside their photography, for a fraction of the price (because they’ve already booked me), and it doesn’t have to be a full scale movie production. Something simple and nice.

So that’s what I did, and 3 years later people are LOVING my films and I love producing them, there’s something about hearing that shaky-voiced dad speech, and the roars of laughter from the best man speech. I just love it!
