Bashall Barn Wedding - Becky and Tom

I bloody love this venue! I must have photographed at well over 100 venues in my time and this is up there as one of my all time favorites. Thinking of getting married at Bashall Barn? Then you’ve made an excellent choice!

Originally an agricultural barn, refurbishments have taken place over the years to transform Bashall Barn into a tea room, then a farm shop and, in the last few years, a fantastic wedding venue. The Barn is still owned and run by the Barnes family who take a really hands on approach to each and every wedding. Hidden away in the rolling hills of Ribble Valley - what better backdrop could you want for your wedding day! The team at Bashall is top notch and couples are so well looked after there. Always a huge bonus!

Wedding photography at Bashall Barn

Bashall Barn is an incredible all in one wedding venue. From morning preparations right through to the evening party everything happens on site so there’s no need for travel, wedding transport or giving your guests maps and directions to each different venue. All in all it makes for a fuss free, easy wedding day.

That’s not to say that couples choose Bashall just for ease. Oh no! It’s an amazing venue regardless of that. Set high on a hill the Barn boasts panoramic views of the Ribble Valley, The location makes an incredible backdrop for Bashall’s wedding ceremony room and for wedding portraits.

Bashall Barn is exclusive use, couples and their guests get to take it over for their entire wedding day. Couples also get to enjoy one of the two wedding suites the night before and the night of their wedding. It’s the perfect place for one or both of you to get ready in the morning and imagine waking up there the day after your wedding and opening the curtains to look out over Lancashire’s rolling hills!

Summer weddings at Bashall Barn

Beck and Tom’s day at Bashall began with Beck and her girls getting ready in the wedding suite. Over in the barn the ceremony room was a hive of activity. White wooden chairs with sage green sashes had been placed out, all looking towards the huge picture window, whilst the room was decorated with tall trees and green foliage. It looked stunning. A big neon sign welcomed everyone to their day and as Beck put on her wedding dress, guests were gathering in the bar and greeting Tom with huge hugs.

Tom had a huge smile on his face as Beck walked down the aisle towards him on the arm of her very proud Dad. After a short, but very sweet ceremony everyone made their way outside to greet the newly weds and enjoy some drinks. The balcony was the perfect spot for Tom and Beck’s family group photos. There was a lot of laughter as everyone gathered together for some informal formals (just the way I like them!) and then I whisked Tom and Becky off to the barn for some photos with the cows! A unique experience which couples always love. It’s a real talking point when having your wedding at Bashall Barn!

One of the perks of shooting a wedding at Bashall Barn (and attending a wedding there!) is the delicious, locally sourced food. They always put on an amazing spread and couples and their guests rave about it.

As the sun set the ‘gin bar’ opened and guests were invited to help themselves to a range of gins and mixers. What a start to the party!

Tom, Beck, I loved every minute of being your Bashall Barn wedding photographer. You are both utter legends!
