Intimate Wedding Celebrations at Sandhole Oak Barn for Hollie & Jack

Hollie & Jack had already booked me for later in the year to have a ‘normal’ wedding when covid restrictions lifted, but actually decided to bring their wedding forward to earlier in the year because they just wanted to get married with their nearest and dearest. The party could come later!

We started the morning with the boys.. getting ready at ‘the shepherds hut’ which is right next to the lake here at sandhole oak barn! Jack was nervous but definitely excited, he just couldn’t wait to finally marry Hollie! It was then time to go and see the girls! Getting ready in ‘The Oak Barn’, also situated on site. Hollie had her mum and bridesmaids with her for the morning preparations.

Unfortunately, due to restrictions at the time, all of the guests still had to wear masks for the ceremony. Nobody let this dampen the spirits on the wedding day though!

They left the ceremony walking back down the aisle and get ALL the confetti to the face!! We managed to get some group shots done and then it was onto the speeches for the evening!

The Perfect Setting for an Intimate Wedding

I really do believe that this wedding venue is the perfect setting to host your micro wedding. Sandhole Oak Barn often holds ceremonies and events on a big scale, but this wedding just goes to show just how versatile the space can be, no matter the size of your wedding. Hollie & Jack had just 15 guests (actually, it may have even been 12!). The team at Sandhole really tried to make the most of their gorgeous ceremony room and make it lovely for the newlyweds.
