Micro + Elopement Wedding Photography Packages

For those smaller and more intimate wedding days

I’ve photographed so many ‘micro weddings’ since 2020 and I have to say I have a new found love for them. Since covid became a thing, the wedding industry has seen a huge rise in these small and intimate weddings known as micro weddings.

People are truly starting to ditch tradition and just want to have their day, their way. People choose to have these micro weddings for a multitude of reasons - It could be cost related, but more often than not it’s because the couple would prefer a smaller and more relaxed day. I totally get it! I’ll let you into a little secret, when I was planning my wedding we catered for 100+ people and if i’m being really honest - I wish we’d ran off and eloped with the people closest to us. Don’t get me wrong, it was a LOVELY day and I don’t regret my wedding, but it was definitely a lot of faff!

Fewer numbers on your guest list doesn’t mean that your wedding is any less special. In fact, some of the smallest weddings I’ve ever photographed (10-20 people) have been super lovely and emotional. It’s incredibly special to me that I get to be a part of these intimate celebrations with just your nearest and dearest their to witness everything.

Micro-Wedding Planning

Some key things to keep in mind is that some wedding venues, and even some suppliers, won’t book a smaller wedding more than a year in advance - or on a peak Saturday in august. So you may have to settle for a weekday which I can guarantee won’t affect the vibe of the day! Monday - Thursday weddings are becoming more and more popular because the people who truly matter and want to be there, will make the effort to book that day off work and travel to be with you!

The hours you book me for are yours to decide when you want me to start! I take as much care on a smaller day than I would do with a full wedding day.

I could spend the morning with you getting ready and capture the ceremony, group shots and portraits for you, or just be around for the ceremony and a little bit after. The choice is yours!

Remember that a smaller wedding doesn’t mean you have to compromise on your photography coverage! I can still give you full day coverage and stick around for speeches and first dance.

The Elopement + Micro Wedding Packages

I would recommend a total of 4 hours to get maximum coverage of the important things. As standard though, this package is for 2 hours of photography coverage for the ceremony, group photos and portraits afterwards.

I am available for smaller wedding celebrations on Monday - Thursdays and off-peak dates. Last minute availability (less than 4 months) can be accommodated during peak season also.

The 4 hours mentioned above is only a guide, this package is designed to be fully flexible to your wedding plans. Whether that’s wandering through the city at sunrise, saying ‘I do’ in the rolling hills of the Lake District, or running away to the Scottish Highlands for you to exchange some special words.

This new package includes:

– 2 hours coverage. Photos of your guests arriving, first looks (if that’s your thing), full ceremony coverage, couples photos, and some family photos if you want them!

– Speedy delivery of photos to share with those closest to you soon after the wedding

-Delivered to you in an online password protected gallery

-Travel included

£450*
*For the first 2 hours of coverage, additional coverage available at £150 per hour
