65 of my favourite wedding photos from an amazing 2018

Well where do I even start? 2018 has been absolutely mind-blowing for me and my little photography business.

Best Wedding Photography 2018

I will say it before and I’ll say it again, I am truly grateful that I get to call what I do a full-time job. I get to spend my time photographing amazing couples having an a blast on their wedding day. It’s so inspiring and heart-warming. This year especially, I got to be a part of weddings all around the Manchester area, as well as travelling the North West too!

What I love most about weddings, aside from the people, is how they make it their own by adding personal touches & details. I’ve photographed weddings with dogs, huge floral bouquets, tractors, boho themes, tweed suits, cow sheds, some with 100s of guests and some with just 10 guests.

I may photograph so many bride’s and grooms throughout the year, but I really do appreciate each and everyone of you guys and I really couldn’t imagine myself doing anything better than this. No two weddings are the same, that’s for sure. I’ve travelled thousands of miles, worked with some fab wedding suppliers, met some truly amazing couples, and taken so many photos that I can’t even count them all up!

Below you’ll find a slideshow of my 2018 wedding photography round-up, but also 75 of my favourite images summed up in this neat little blog!

The Wedding Industry Awards

When I started off my 2018 with a few weddings in January, I had no idea that I’d be in the same category as some of the best in the industry and an award winning photographer. As well as having a super busy wedding season and trying to completely redecorate our house at the same time (don’t ask!), 2018 was also the year I had some highly respectable recognitions & awards for my work. I had a few of my images featured in blogs, and I was also named Regional Finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards for the best newcomer wedding photographer of the year in the North West. It was so incredible to be recognised amongst some of the best in the industry, and it only made me want to strive harder for 2019.

Wedding Photography in 2019 & 2020

Speaking of 2019, I am SO excited for the year ahead. I had actually planned to write my 2018 round up much sooner, but a part of me is relieved I didn’t as it just got busier! At the time of writing this, we are now one week into 2019 and I have already taken an extra 10 bookings for 2019, meaning I’m now over 70% booked for the year. Please know that I do have some availability left for 2019, including some peak dates! So if you’re reading this, you like what you see and you’re still looking for a wedding photographer then don’t miss out! Please do get in touch before I have to close my books.

Well, I think I’ve rambled on long enough now - enjoy my 2018 round up video and extra images below!

I photographed so many lovely weddings in 2018 and I wanted to take a look back with this video!
