I absolutely LOVE winter weddings. Michaela & Johnny were married in February at the incredible Heaton House Farm Wedding Venue. It is clear to see why Heaton House has quickly become one of Cheshire’s best award-winning venues - with its rustic ceremony room, gorgeous surrounding views, and the iconic tree that couples love so much when they come to this venue! It’s an absolute dream to photograph weddings here, you will not be disappointed!
The atmosphere at this wedding was blooming brilliant! Expect Singing Waiters, a beautiful first look before the ceremony, crying, and a gorgeous sunset to close the night!
Intimate First Look before the ceremony at Heaton House Farm
I was ecstatic when Michaela told me that they had decided to have a ‘first look’ before their wedding ceremony! Now, first looks are quite traditional in America and not really heard of over here in the UK, but I absolutely love them! It’s a moment alone, just the two of you before your big day kicks off!
All morning Michaela had been quite emotional whilst getting ready with her girls, and I knew this intimate moment was going to be so wonderful! We made full use of the grounds and the staff at Heaton House were so helpful in making sure that this moment went as smoothly as possible!
Singing waiters - Evening Wedding Entertainment at Heaton House Farm
The evening was in full swing and went off with a BANG! (quite literally). As the singing waiters from Silver Service Singers made a crashing entrance as they pretended to trip over the wedding cake, just as guests were tucking into their desserts!
Michaela had booked this perfect entertainment as a total surprise, not even Johnny knew! The team at Silver Service were incredible, they had everyone dancing around the reception room at Heaton House, guest napkins being flung in the air, and a good old dance-off!
