Literally where do I even start with this amazing day?! Rachel & Matthew decided to tie the knot at this incredible Cheshire Wedding venue known as Owen House Wedding Barn. When it comes to weddings, I’ve been so lucky with the weather lately, as Spring weddings can be a bit hit and miss. But what an absolute gorgeous day we had at a truly stunning venue. When I say Rachel & Matthew did their wedding in style - I really do mean they did it in STYLE. Denim jackets for the bride tribe, irregular choice shoes, tweed waistcoats and a gorgeous floral bouquet.

Honestly this venue has became my new favourite within the North-West. Hay bales, barns, tractors, what’s not to love?! You can expect to see lots of laughs, real emotional (crying Nanna!), and some epic dance floor shenanigans!

Candle Lit Ceremony

I think my favourite part about Owen House Wedding Barn is all the thought and decoration thats gone into the planning of this gorgeous venue. At Owen House, there is room on site for both the groom and the bride to get ready. Which means I was able to spend the majority of the morning with Rachel, before heading over to meet Matthew (a very nervous groom!), whilst he greeted his guests before the ceremony. The ceremony room is fairly small but very intimate, laced with fairy lights on one wall, rustic florals and a candlelit aisle to walk down.

Rachel definitely did her day, her way. She looked absolutely stunning in her dress, complemented by an extremely non-traditional denim jacket.

After the ceremony was over, we made use of the unique backdrops that Owen House has to offer. It definitely did not disappoint! Guests made their into the bar area for the canapés and complimentary drinks that are served on the back of a tractor (How cool?!). With in no time at all, it was time for what is possibly my favourite part of the day - Speeches! So much emotional, laughter, and embarrassment that all happens during a wedding day!

Stunning and Unique Cheshire Wedding Venue

Hidden away in the rustic countryside of Mobberly, you’d be spoilt for choice at Owen House wedding Barn for your wedding day. Set on a beautiful working farm, this bespoke wedding barn offers a truly unique and non-traditional setting, with log cabin accommodation for your guests, a rustic bridal preparation room, with a bit of coziness thrown into the mix.

When Owen House was being built, you can truly see the thoughts behind everything and it definitely makes for a photographers dream! Amazing backdrops wherever you turn, hay bales for your bridal party photos, pockets of light that slip through the slats of the ceiling. I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough, the catering team and the owner are so lovely and make sure that you’re feeling right at home!
