Wellbeing Farm Wedding Photography - Rachael and Andy

Grab a cuppa and make yourself comfy, I’ve got a corker of a wedding for you today!

Firstly, it’s the Wellbeing Farm. Now if you’ve not heard of this venue then listen up, it’s one of the best in the North West. Think llamas, donkeys, alpacas - all wearing flat caps and bowties (no, I’m not kidding!). Think rolling hills and beautiful landscapes. Think all manner of crazy props. That just about sums it up! Secondly, and perhaps most importantly this blog features Rachael and Andy and they’re ace. Down to earth, a touch of quirkiness and just all round good people.

Weddings at the Wellbeing Farm

The Wellbeing Farm has a new feature for this year, a luxury farm house where Rachael got ready. It’s the perfect spot for getting a bit glam. Plus from there it’s only a short stroll to the Wedding Barn, where Andy was waiting and getting a tad nervous!

Bit of back story for these guys, they’ve known each other since they were 14. Andy remembers Rachael as the interesting girl with “furry boots and crazy clothes.” She…hated him! Haha! Apparently he was “immature and stupid, and chucked a full bottle of water over my best friend”! Said best friend was a bridesmaid and I can confirm there was no water chucking from Andy! Fast forward a few years and they found each other again on Facebook. They met up, became friends, became good friends then became REALLY good friends! They had a son (Oscar, an awesome little dude), Andy proposed and here we are today.

Colourful wedding details

You can’t get married at the Wellbeing Farm if you don’t love colour. And Rachel really does LOVE colour.

From the bright flowers in her hair to the bunting and paper balloons that adorned the barn. It looked smashing! It has to be said, the weather wasn’t the greatest. But it’s the one thing you can’t plan for on your wedding day and these two did the right thing, embraced it!

We grabbed umbrellas and headed outside for a confetti shot before I whisked Andy and Rachel off to explore the Wonderful World of the Wellbeing Farm, and take some photos. We got some crackers! These two just went for it with the posing and made the most of the time they got to spend together before heading back to their guests. Words don’t do this wedding justice, it was brilliant.

If you’re planning your own wedding at the Wellbeing Farm then there is so much inspiration here for you. Get scrolling! Oh..and if you are planning your own day and need a wedding photographer then look no further!
